NOCA Piercing Studio is an independent piercing studio based in Manchester, specialising in professional body piercing, curated jewellery and personalised aftercare.

We believe piercing is more than a procedure. It is a form of personal expression, and every piercing should be approached with care, precision and respect for each client’s individual anatomy and style.

At NOCA, we focus on creating a calm, clean and professional environment where every client can feel comfortable throughout the entire experience — from consultation and jewellery selection to piercing and aftercare.

Our Approach

Every piercing begins with an individual assessment.

Before the procedure, we consider your anatomy, placement, jewellery choice and long-term healing to help determine the most suitable option for you. Not every piercing is suitable for every anatomy, and we will always prioritise safe placement and healthy healing over simply completing a requested piercing.

Your placement will be marked and confirmed with you before piercing.

We do not use piercing guns. All piercings are performed using sterile, single-use piercing needles.

Hygiene & Safety

Your safety is central to everything we do.

Single-use materials, including gloves, gauze, cotton swabs and protective drapes, are changed for every client and discarded after use.

A new sterile piercing needle is used for every piercing and is never reused.

Reusable jewellery components, insertion tools and assisting instruments are processed and sterilised using professional high-temperature, high-pressure autoclave sterilisation procedures before use.

We maintain clear procedures for cleaning, sterilisation and waste disposal throughout the studio.

Jewellery

We offer a carefully selected range of piercing jewellery in different styles, sizes and finishes.

Jewellery is selected not only for appearance, but also according to placement, anatomy and healing requirements.

For new piercings, we do not accept client-provided jewellery. This allows us to ensure that the jewellery used is appropriate in size, design and condition for an initial piercing.

Decorative jewellery can also be purchased separately in studio.

Aftercare & Ongoing Support

Our responsibility does not end when the piercing is finished.

Every client receives professional aftercare guidance following their appointment, including instructions on cleaning, protecting the piercing and recognising normal healing changes.

Piercings performed at NOCA include three months of complimentary aftercare support, as well as the first downsizing service where required. Replacement or upgraded jewellery is charged separately.

If you experience irritation, swelling, piercing bumps or other healing concerns, you are welcome to contact us for an assessment.
